Adopt-A-Highway Clean-Up, Record Turn-out, Record Time – April 22, 2012

We experienced a record turn-out of 45-50 for the NORML of Macomb County Gratiot clean-up on April 22, 2012. We cleaned our segment of Gratiot Avenue in Roseville, MI from 12 to 14 Mile Roads in one hour! Thank you to everyone who participated in the effort. Learn more »

2012 Adopt-A-Stream Training With Clinton River Watershed Council

NORML of Macomb County is getting involved with the Clinton River Watershed Council's Adopt-A-Stream Program. In April 2012, Executive Director, Annette Nay Nay, and Assistant Executive Director, Yanko Restovic, participated in the first step of training for Adopt-A-Stream. Learn more »

Gratiot Ave. Clean-Up

Just wanted to start reminding everyone that we will have our first clean up on April 22nd starting at 12:00 pm.

We will meet-up at Ghetto Rags Detroit and then head out to clean up. We are responsible for the sidewalks ONLY from 12 Mile Road and Gratiot to 14 Mile Road and Gratiot. Obviously the more people we have the faster it will go.

 Due to scheduling conflicts this month, Macomb Norml’s meeting on April 15th is canceled.

We would like to remind everyone about the highway cleanup that is on April 22nd and ask for those who plan on attending to arrive around noon instead of 1:00pm.

At that time we will have a short meeting, a video to watch, pass out vests, and prepare for the highway cleanup.

Bring your cameras, camcorder, hats, sun block and a device to help you pick up garbage so you don’t have to bend over.

We will provide water but Annette was able to arrange accommodations from Rams Horn to use their restrooms and they will allow us… Learn more »

Great day petitioning

Just wanted to tell evryone that Annette “Nay Nay” and myself had a great day at the 9 mile and Mack  post office.

I met some nice and not so nice people today but I remembered to just move on when they said “NO”

I hope its another nice day tommarow and I am enjoying getting out in the nice weather.

Fall Gratiot Ave. Clean-up Oct. 23 2011
